Dear Alien,

Earth is a very hard place, you need to succeed in order to have a good life on Earth. For example, you need to read and get a good job and be able to provide for your family. You have to be innovative, you have to be creative. In Earth, you have to be friendly, because if you're not, you won´t get along with people very well. Earth can be fun for certain people, but for me, I thing it's great. After all, it's the only planet with life in it. Other planets don't have water and phone and computer like Earth. Earth is a great place to be, hope you visit someday.

Why do think we have national holidays?
I think that we have national holidays is to acknowledge the great people and celebrate the good things that they have done to help our country.

The benefits of having national holidays is that we are able to stay at home and not have any school so that we could be able to relax our mind. The downsides of having a holidays because some terrorists use it as a way to attack people.

Grit

Grit is passions and perseverance. Grit in psychology is a positive, non-cognitive trait based on an individual's passion for a particular long-term goal or end state, coupled with a powerful motivation to achieve their respective objective.One time in my life, when felt like I couldn't pass a test. Then I studied hard and then ended up passing the test. I don't think that grit should be taught at school because passion and perseverance should come naturally.

Goals

Academic Goal

1. The goal that I want to set is to be able to finish any thing that I have to do concerning technology class, faster. I will be able to do this by managing my time wisely and by not getting distracted too easily. I can also check my progress by knowing if I got a good grade on it to know that I use my time correctly.

2. Another goal that I want to set is to be able to get to class on time by coming out of the cafeteria faster. A way that I can make sure that this happens is by going to class when the bell rings and not get distracted by my peers and just go straight to class.

Personal Goal

A personal goal that I want to set is to be able to type accurately. I say this because I type fast, but sometime, I don.t get the words right. I can get better at this problem by typing a little slower than I type now.
